Slated for 2013, the Villages are an integral part of our urban community at The Alhambra. Connected by meandering paths, pocket parks, courtyards and grand open malls, townhomes and flats share views of the glorious San Gabriel mountains, rolling hills and the parks and plazas of The Alhambra. Over three hundred homes will be built using sustainable, “green” principles. Residents of The Villages will be optimists and respectful of the environment being created. The Villages will be a place that takes residents and visitors out of their “personal bubbles” of iPods and cell phones to a place where they are inhabiting the public spaces (physically, emotionally and intellectually) and sharing those experiences with each other.
The Villages at The Alhambra will be created with an aesthetic that is inspirational, unique, open, respectful of its neighbor (the campus), and conducive to the community’s need/want/desire to meet/play/interact.
